Package #3 – Buenos Aires, Iguazu Falls and Bariloche

Day 1. Buenos Aires
At your arrival in the morning at Buenos Aires International Ministro Pistarini Ezeiza Airport you will meet our crew for a transfer to your selected hotel.
The rest of the day free to relax from the trip and to be acquainted with Buenos Aires.
Buenos Aires is known as the “Paris of South America” for its spacious boulevards, European arquitecture and avenues with their impressive monuments. For the rest of the day and evening we recommend that you stroll Corrientes Avenue, Florida Street, Santa Fe Avenue, the 9 de Julio Boulevard, La Recoleta with their fine restaurants and café’s.Another place to visit is Puerto Madero, were dozen’s of the finest restaurants are located.

Day 2. Buenos Aires
In the morning you will take a complete half a day tour through the most interesting and historical locations of the city. This tour will take you though the world’s famous 9 de Julio Avenue. You will have the opportunity to see the Presidential House (world famous Pink House), the historical Plaza de Mayo, El Cabildo, the congress, the district of San Telmo, and ending at the Italian/Portuguese district of La Boca, where the famous Caminito street inspired its homonym tango song.For the evening we recommend the most energetic night tango show: “Sr. Tango performed by the best professionals and in and excellent location with a great ambiance.”. Transfers and dinner are included. This tour is not included in the price. Ask for this additional feature. Other Tango shows can also be booked.

Day 3. Buenos Aires
Breakfast. Day at your leisure.
Enjoy the optional full day tour Fiesta Gaucha with lunch. The Fiesta Gaucha is the most typical Argentinean fiesta. This event is celebrated in a Hacienda, located outside Buenos Aires. You will see the Argentinean cowboys performing their unique skills in horse riding, traditional games, BBQ cooking and more.
The typical Argentinean BBQ lunch will be served. Country music and dance will be also performed.This tour runs are not daily. This tour is not included in the price. We strongly recommend to book in advance.

We also suggest taking a tour by the Delta del Tigre (River Plate Delta). A cruise that will take you through the Delta’s mayor tributaries surrounded by thick vegetation and magnificent river views. To get there, you will drive through the most elegant suburban districts such as San Isidro. Most of the mansions in this neighborhood belong to the traditional aristocratic families. This tour is not included in the price. We also suggest taking the Tren de la Costa. This small train will take you around the cost line. The railway has some attractive stations with shops, cinemas, modern bars and restaurants. This tour is not included in the price.
Day 4. Buenos Aires – Puerto Iguazu

Breakfast. Flight from Buenos Aires to Iguazu Falls in the afternoon. You will arrive in Puerto Iguazu (Argentina), location of one of the most magnificent waterfalls in the world. The falls are located at the Iguazu National Park, declared a Mankind’s Heritage Site by UNESCO.Transfer to your selected hotel. The Iguazu Falls are taller than the Niagara Falls, twice as wide with 275 cascades spread in a horseshoe shape as a result of a volcanic eruption which left yet another crack in the earth. The tremendous amount of water (an average of 553 cubic feet per second) thundering down 269 feet, the tropical location and the sheer beauty led Eleanor Roosevelt to say “Poor Niagara”. Four times the width of Niagara Falls, Iguazu Falls are divided by various islands into separate waterfalls. During the rainy season of November-March, the rate of flow may reach 450,000 cubic feet or 12,750 cubic meters per second.

A UNESCO WORLD NATURAL HERITAGE SITE, the falls are part of a singular and virgin jungle ecosystem protected by Argentine and Brazilian National Parks on either side of the cascades. Two thirds of the falls are on the Argentinean side of the river where you can also tour. Iguazu National Park houses jungle trails and bird hikes. Plan a full day in the park to completely enjoy the wildlife flora and fauna.

Day 5. Iguazú’s Falls. Argentinean side
After breakfast at your hotel, transfer to Iguazú Falls Argentina side. Full day visit to the Argentinean side of the falls. We will be walking around and close to them in a save environment. The Argentinean side has numerous walkways that meander under the torrent of crashing waters. This is one of the best ways to enjoy this magnificent spectacle. Lunch is not included. Tax fee to enter Iguazu National Park is not included.
You can also up-grade this tour ADDING the Great Adventure. The adventure tour will take you 12 kilometers (7.6 mileages) in to the Selva Misionera (Missionary Jungle). For the exploration of flora and fauna we will use a 4 wheel-drive and boats. From Puerto Macuco (Macuco Port) we will navigate 10 kilometres (6.2 mileages) on the Zodiac Boat by wide and soft whitewater-rapids of the inferior Iguazu up to the Garganta del Diablo (Devil’s Throat). Later we will depart toward Salto San Martín (San Martin Falls) and Los Tres Mosqueteros (Three Musketeers) to a real natural shower from the falls. Our ride ends in front of San Martin Isle. This tour can be modified or cancelled due weather conditions. All boats fulfill the strongly recommend approved by local authorities. We strongly recommend packing WITH home plastic wraps to protect your cameras or devices.

Day 6. Iguazú’s Falls Brazilian side

Breakfast. Half a day tour to the Brazilian side of the falls. These waterfalls encompass 275 separate falls spanning an area of almost two miles. Iguazu Falls is located between the border of Argentina and Brazil. Both sides offers one of nature’s most spectacular views. Tax fee to enter Foz do Iguazu National Park is not included. This tour may not be offered if you have no visa to enter to Brazil.
In the early afternoon, flight from Puerto Iguazú via Buenos Aires to San Carlos de Bariloche airport, arrival at night and transfer to the hotel to relax from the trip. Bariloche is located in one of the most beautiful National Parks in Patagonia, the Nahuel Huapi National Park, with its main attractions are the Nahuel Huapi Lake and the city of San Carlos de Bariloche, special touch provided by its typical stone and wood buildings combined with a first class tourist center with the most important ski resort in the area, and the gorgeous surrounding landscape.
The city of Bariloche is located in the south shore of the Nahuel Huapi Lake. In the area you can enjoy the most beautIful views of flora, fauna and landscapes.

One of the characteristics of the lake is the blue color of its water. Inside the city of Bariloche, the principal attractions are the downtown, Mitre Street, The Cathedral, The Andino Club and the Patagonian Museum.
The Alerces National Park, with its particular topography produced by a complex system of lakes and rivers is another major attraction of unparallel beauty.

Day 7. Puerto Iguazu – Bariloche

Breakfast. About 8:30am departure from your hotel on board of a comfortable panoramic bus to enjoy a half day city tour knows as Circuito Chico, visiting Bariloche and its surroundings for a half-day sightseeing. Drive along Bustillo Avenue bordering Nahuel Huapi Lake heading to Playa Bonita. Continue to Campanario Hill, where a lift chair (fee is not included) will take you to the lookout at its summit, from there you can have an breathtaking view of the Nahuel Huapi Lake and of the Andean Mountain Range and of the city. You will be also visiting the San Pedro and Llao Llao peninsulas. Our tour will continue its way through several points of interest to reach Lopez Bay. From there you will enjoy another magnificent view from a different perspective of the Nahuel Huapi Lake and the Moreno Lake.
Return to your hotel in Bariloche. The rest of the day at your leisure to be acquainted with Bariloche.

Day 8. Bariloche

We suggest making a visit to the Victory Island or the Cathedral Mountain optional tours. We suggested booking the all day tour to Victoria Island.
In Victoria Island you will visit Bosque de Arrayanes National Park with its unique trees and natural beauty. This Island was the inspirational theme of Walt Disney’s Bambi movie.
The Cathedral Hill is one of the highest points in Bariloche where you can appreciate the panoramic view of Bariloche surrounding mountains and the Andean Mountain Chain. You arrive at the top of the mountain via cable car at a very small fee.

Also we suggest the optional tour. Blest Port and Los Cantaros Cascades.
A marshy full day excursion. We will leave from Pañuelo Port. We will travel by boat, sailing along the Brazo Largo of the Nahuel Huapi and arrive at Blest Port. After lunch we will go to Los Cantaros Cascade. We will ascend by wooden stairs, located at the side of this wonderful creation by nature, where we will have a spectacular view of the cascades.

Day 9. Bariloche / Buenos Aires / Home

Breakfast. Check out time is at noon. Morning at your leisure, ideal for last minute purchases, or visiting the city. Bariloche is famous for its branched chocolate and jells; you may want to taste them. Transfer to the airport to Bariloche Airport for your departure to Buenos Aires arriving at Domestic Airport ( Aeroparque Jorge Newbery Airport).

Later transfer to the International Airport Manuel Pistarini (Ezeiza). Usually your home flight departs late in the evening. International Argentina departure tax can not be included in your final payment. Approximate USD 18.00 exact cash per person.
