Package #22 – Travel To Iguazu Falls | Buenos Aires Tours & Travels

Day 1. USA / Buenos Aires / Puerto Iguazu
At your arrival in the morning at Buenos Aires International Airport M. Pistarini (Ezeiza) our staff will welcome you and provide transfer to Jorge Newbery Buenos Aires Airport to board on a flight to Puerto Iguazú, At your arrival in Puerto Iguazú in the afternoon (Iguazú’s Falls Argentinean side) location of one of the most magnificent waterfalls in the world. The falls are located at the Iguazu National Park , declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. You will meet our personal for a transfer to your selected hotel. The Iguazú Falls are taller than the Niágara Falls and twice as wide, with 275 cascades spread in a horseshoe shape. This falls are the result of a volcanic eruption. The tremendous amount of water (an average of 553 cubic feet per second) thundering down 269 feet, the tropical location and the sheer beauty led Eleanor Roosevelt to say: “Poor Niagara”. Four times as width as Niágara Falls, Iguazú Falls are divided by various islands into separate waterfalls. During rainy season (November to March), the flow rate may reach arround 12,750 cubic meters per second (450,000 cubic feet). An UNESCO WORLD NATURAL HERITAGE SITE. This singular and virgin jungle ecosystem is protected by Argentine and Brazilian National Parks on either side of the cascades. Two thirds of the falls are on the Argentinean side,where you can also tour Iguazú National Park, there, you can participate in jungle trails and bird hikes. Plan a full day in the park to fully enjoy the wildlife.

Day 2. Iguazu Falls Argentinean side

After breakfast at your hotel transfer to Iguazú Falls Argentina side. Full day visit to the Argentinean side of the falls. We will be walking around and close to them in a save environment. The Argentinean side has numerous walkways that meander under the torrent of crashing waters. This is one of the best ways to enjoy this magnificent spectacle. Lunch not included. Tax fee to enter Iguazu National Park is not included.

Also you will have the Great Adventure Tour.The adventure tour will take you 12 kilometers (7.6 mileages) to the Misionera Forest. For the exploration of flora and fauna we will use a 4 wheel-drive and boats. From Puerto Macuco we will navigate 10 kilometres (6.2 mileages) on the Zodiac Boat by wide and soft whitewater-rapids of the inferior Iguazu up to the Devil throat. Later we will depart toward Falls Salto San Martin and Three Musketeers to a real natural shower from the falls. Our ride ends in front of San Martin Isle. This tour can be modified or cancelled due weather conditions. All boats fulfill the strongly recommendations approved by local authorities. We strongly recommend packing your cameras and or devices with home plastic wraps to protect them.

We also suggest JUNGLE SAFARI FALLS TOUR. This tour is an extension from Argentinean Iguazú falls Tour departs 2PM.This trip takes place inside the reservation area of the park. The first part of the trip involves 4km of 4WD open roof transportation through the Yacaratia trail (closed for the general public). During this journey, several interpretation stops and walks take place. During these stops, passengers are instructed and introduce to the subtropical ecosystem, by a specialized guide. Later, an 880m trekking trough the Macuco Trail takes place. This trail leads to the Arrechea Fall, were visitors can refresh themselves in natural pool formed at the base of the fall by the erosion. At this paradisiacal spot passengers are given time to refresh and have a snack, after witch, they are driven back to the visitors center. Duration: 2 hours. This tour is not included in the price.

Day 3. Iguazu Falls Brazilian side – Buenos Aires
Breakfast. We also suggest the half day tour to the Brazilian side of the falls. These waterfalls encompass 275 separate falls spanning an area of almost two miles. Iguazu Falls is located between the border of Argentina and Brazil. Both sides offering one of nature’s most spectacular views. Tax fee to enter Foz do Iguazu National Park is not included.
This tour may not be offered if you have no visa to enter to Brazil.

IMPORTANT: AMERICAN CITIZENS REQUIRES VISA TO ENTER BRAZILIAN SIDE OF THE FALLS. If you don’t want to apply for Brazilian Visa an alternative tour on Argentina side may be offered.

In the early afternoon, you will meet our personal for a transfer to Puerto Iguazu Airport to take a flight to Buenos Aires. At your arrival in Buenos Aires at Jorge Newbery Domestic Airport you will meet our personal for a transfer to your selected hotel.

The rest of the day free to relax from the trip and to be acquainted with Buenos Aires. Buenos Aires is known as the “Paris of South America” for its spacious boulevards, European arquitecture and avenues with their impressive monuments. For the rest of the day and evening we recommend that you stroll Corrientes Avenue, Florida Street, Santa Fe Avenue, the 9 de Julio Blvd, La Recoleta with their fine restaurants and café’s.
Another place to visit is Puerto Madero, were dozen’s of the finest restaurants are located. Don’t miss the historic Café Tortoni built on 1858 on Ave Mayo.

Day 4. Buenos Aires
After breakfast a half a day city tour through the most interesting and historical locations of the city. This tour will take you though the world’s famous 9 de Julio Ave. We will have the opportunity to see the Presidential House (world famous Pink House), the historical Plaza de Mayo, el Cabildo, el Congreso, the district of San Telmo, and ending at the Italian/Portuguese district of La Boca, where the famous Caminito street inspired the famous Tango-Caminito.

At the end of this tour you can visit Buenos Aires famous La Feria de San Telmo, (San Telmo Antique Fair) in the afternoon. Fería de Antiguedades de San Telmo is a very traditional gathering place of the local’s folks who are looking for antiques, restaurants, café’s; the surrounding architecture, tango street dancing, and a bohemian atmosphere complement this exciting fair. This nostalgic event runs only on Sunday from 12 noon to 4 PM. Nightlife in Buenos Aires extends to early hours in the morning; dinner is an essential part of the Argentinean evening. During this night, you will have dinner and enjoy the most energetic night tango show “Sr Tango” performed by prestigious Argentinean artists. Dinner and transfers are included. Be part of the nightlife in this enchanting city. Other Tango shows can also be booked.

Day 5. Buenos Aires
Breakfast. Enjoy the full day tour Fiesta Gaucha with lunch. The Fiesta Gaucha is the most typical Argentinean fiesta. This event is celebrated in a Hacienda, located outside Buenos Aires. You will see the Argentinean cowboys performing their unique skills in horse riding, traditional games, BBQ cooking and more.
The typical Argentinean BBQ lunch will be served. Country music and dance will be also performed. This tour does not run daily, only on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays. We strongly recommend to book in advance.

Day 6. Buenos Aires
Breakfast. Day at your leisure.
We suggest a tour by the Delta del Tigre (River Plate Delta). A cruise that will take you through the Delta’s mayor tributaries surrounded by thick vegetation and magnificent river views. To get there, you will drive through the most elegant suburban districts such as San Isidro. Most of the mansions in this neighborhood belong to the traditional aristocratic families. We suggest taking the Tren de la Costa . This small train will take you around the cost line. The railway has some attractive stations with shops, cinemas, modern bars and restaurants.We also suggest a full day tour to Lujan a blend of religious and historical colonial town the amazing national basilica is a good sample of the catholic faith that Argentinean have. Lunch with typical dishes in a natural atmosphere. Later a guided visit to the Lujan zoo for a fun experience then returns to your hotel. Transfers and lunch are included in this tour.

Day 7. Buenos Aires
Breakfast. Day at your leisure. This is your last day in this great city.
The rate of exchange is extremely convenient for American Dollars. It is an excellent opportunity for shopping the famous leather that Argentina offers to the world. Souvenirs customize shoes, leather trousers, leather jacket, bags, etc. In the evening you will meet our personal for a transfer to M. Pistarini Buenos Aires International Airport to flight to Miami. Departure tax from Buenos Aires not included (aprx 18.00 US DOLLAR cash per person). Overnight flight.
