Day 1. Buenos Aires

Arrival at Pistarini Buenos Aires International Airport (formerly Ezeiza Airport) and transfer to your selected hotel. The rest of the day at your leisure, so you can start being acquainted with the city. Buenos Aires is known as the “Paris of South America” for its spacious boulevards, European architecture, and avenues with its impressive monuments. The Plaza de Mayo (May Square) perhaps the most historically representative place in Argentina. Here you can see the Presidential Palace, The Cabildo, which was an old Spanish town hall, and the Cathedral, with Jose de San Martin mausoleum. The national Congress building, another historical site with its imposing facade of Greek-Roman features, considered one of the most sumptuous parliamentary buildings of the Americas.

Don’t miss the Colon Theater, and its spectacular Ballets and Operas. The theater is also a museum that offers guided tours for visitors. We recommend you to visit Corrientes Avenue, Florida Street, Santa Fe Avenue, The 9 de Julio Blvd, and La Recoleta, with their fine restaurants and cafés. Another place to visit is Puerto Madero, were dozens of the finest restaurants are located.

Day 2. Buenos Aires

Breakfast. In the morning, you will participate of a half day city tour; that includes the most interesting and historical locations of the city. This tour will take you through the world’s famous 9 de Julio Ave. You will have the opportunity of seeing the Presidential House, (World famous Pink House), the historical Plaza de Mayo, el Cabildo, el Congreso, the district of San Telmo, and ending at the Italian/Portuguese district, La Boca, where the famous Caminito street inspired the famous tango song, “Caminito”.

At the end of this tour, you can visit Buenos Aires famous Antique Sunday Fair of San Telmo in the afternoon. Fería de Antiguedades de San Telmo is a very traditional gathering place of the local’s folks who are looking for antiques, restaurants, cafés; the surrounding architecture, tango street dancing, and a bohemian atmosphere complement this exciting fair. This nostalgic event runs only on Sunday from noon to 4:00 pm. At night, a dinner tango show with transfers is included. Optional up-grade for the most energetic night tango show: “Sr. Tango”.

Day 3. Buenos Aires

Breakfast. Enjoy the optional (not included) full day tour Fiesta Gaucha with lunch.
The Fiesta Gaucha is the most typical Argentinean ranch party. This event is celebrated in a Hacienda, located outside Buenos Aires. You will see the Argentinean cowboys performing their unique skills in horse riding, traditional games, BBQ cooking and more.
The typical Argentinean BBQ lunch will be served. Folkloric music and dance will be also performed.

Day 4. Buenos Aires / Puerto Iguazu

Breakfast. Transfer to the Aeroparque Jorge Newbery (city airport) bound to Puerto Iguazú, where the most magnificent waterfalls in the world exist. At your arrival, transfer to your selected hote. The falls are located at the Iguazu National Park, declared as a World Heritage Site by Unesco. Transfer to the hotel of your selection. These waterfalls encompass 275 separate falls spanning, an area of almost two miles. Iguazú falls is located between the Argentina- Brazil border. Both sides offering one of nature’s most spectacular views. Rest of the day is at your leisure.

 Day 5. Iguazu Falls Argentinean side

After breakfast at your hotel transfer to Iguazú Falls (Argentina´s side). Full day visit to the Argentinean side of the falls. We´ll be able to walk near by them in a safe environment . The Argentinean side has numerous walkways that meander under the crashing waters torrent. This is one of the best ways to enjoy this magnificent spectacle. Lunch not included. Fees to enter Iguazú National Park not included. You can also up-grade this tour for the Great Adventure. Ask for this additional feature.The Iguazú Falls are taller than the Niagara Falls and twice as wide, with 275 cascades spread in a horseshoe shape. This falls are the result of a volcanic eruption. The tremendous amount of water (an average of 553 cubic feet per second) thundering down 269 feet, the tropical location and the sheer beauty led Eleanor Roosevelt to say: “Poor Niagara”. Four times as width as Niagara Falls, Iguazú Falls are divided by various islands into separate waterfalls. During rainy season (November to March), the flow rate may reach around 12,750 cubic meters per second (450,000 cubic feet). An UNESCO WORLD NATURAL HERITAGE SITE. This singular and virgin jungle ecosystem is protected by Argentine and Brazilian National Parks on either side of the cascades. Two thirds of the falls are on the Argentinean side,where you can also tour Iguazú National Park, there, you can participate in jungle trails and bird hikes. Plan a full day in the park to fully enjoy the wildlife.

Day 6. Puerto Iguazu – Iguazu Falls Brazilian side – Rio de Janeiro

Breakfast. Half a day tour to the Brazilian side of the falls.  These waterfalls encompass 275 separate falls spanning an area of almost two miles. Iguaçu Falls is located between the Argentina- Brazil border. Both sides offering one of nature’s most spectacular views.

Fees to enter Foz do Iguaçu National Park not included. Approximately USD 15.00 per person. Departure from Foz do Iguaçú to Rio de Janeiro in the late afternoon. At your arrival in Rio de Janeiro, transfer will be provide to your selected hotel. Your hotel is located in the Copacabana area. Famous for its beaches, Copacabana’s Atlantica Avenue offers in-numerous cafes and restaurants. The astonishing beauty of the Guanabara Bay bewitches visitors to Rio. Rio’s famous landmark statue of Christ the Redeemer perched atop Tijuca National Forest. It has a botanical garden of almost 350 acres, containing over 5,000 species of plants, fine museums, such as the Indian Museum and the National Historical Museum.The rest of the day free to rest from the trip and to be acquainted with Copacabana.

Day 7. Rio de Janeiro – Christ the Redeemer (one of the Seven Wonders of World)

Full day tour to El Corcovado (Christ Statue) and the Sugar Loaf, lunch included
This tour is the best opportunity to see Rio de Janeiro from the above. Breakfast and pick-up from your hotel to visit the Christ Statue a 90 feet tall monument, recently named by popular votes one of the Seven Wonders of World located on top of Corcovado Mountain 2,329 ft or 710 meters above sea level. We will take the cog train through the luxuriant rain forest to enjoy the spectacular views of Rio de Janeiro, one of most beautiful urban and natural scenarios in the whole world; in the afternoon we will head to a local Churrasqueria (Brazilian Restaurant) for lunch time, the place offer a large menu variety for every taste including a typical barbecue, drinks are not included. In the early afternoon we will drive you to the second most visited place in Rio de Janeiro the Sugar Loaf. We will take to Bondinho (cable ride) to ascend theses two rocks in National Park of Sugar Loaf (elevation 1,299 ft-396 meters), declared by Unesco World Heritage Site; the ride unfolds a 360º scenery of breathtaking views, including the Leme, Copacabana, Ipanema, Flamengo and Leblon beaches; the Pedra da Gávea, Maciço da Tijuca and Corcovado mountains and its Christ the redeemer, the Guanabara Bay; Santos Dumont Airport; Governador island; the neighboring city of Niterói; the Rio-Niterói bridge; and the Serra do Mar mountain backdrop, with the famous Dedo de Deus (“God’s Finger”) peak. Return to the hotel.

 Day 8. Rio de Janeiro

Breakfast. Day at your at leisure. We suggest (not included) the  Tropical Islands Tour. This all day tour cruises the bay in safe and comfortable sailboats. Tropical fruits are freely served on board, as well as the typical Brazil’s drink, the Caipirinha. Drinks are not included. The boat stops for those who want to swim in the crystal clean waters of the bay, where it is possible to see the bottom. After this stop, we will head to the Island where a buffet-style lunch will be served with a varied selection of dishes, mainly seafood and barbecue. The stay on the island takes approximately 3 hours, enough for swimming in the ocean or to play the available sports. In the evening return to your hotel. We also suggest a full day to Buzios a tranquil beach with gorges views; it is two hours away from Rio de Janerio along a nice scenery road.  At the evening we recommend to enjoy the carnival with the energetic dances and colorful clothes at Plataforma show.   Ask to our agents how to book any of these 3 optional tours in advance.

 Day 9. Rio de Janeiro

Breakfast. You will take our full day tour to Petropolis, Brazil’s Imperial city, located near Rio de Janeiro.  Petropolis city is a popular health and summer resort, founded in 1845 German immigrants. It is named after Pedro II, emperor of Brazil from 1831 to 1889, it was a favorite summer residence.  Petrópolis is one of Rio de Janeiro’s premier mountain resorts, the lovely tree-lined streets, the palaces, mansions, and museums can be comfortably explored on foot. In addition to the royal family, the Baron of Mauá, the Baron of Rio Negro, and a number of industrialists, coffee moguls, and politicians built their summer residences here, turning Petrópolis into Brazil´s capital during the hot summer months. Even after Brazil´s independence, in 1889, Petrópolis maintained its prestige. In 1904 the former Baron of Rio Negro´s residence became the official summer president´s residence.

Evening is at your leisure. We recommend the Plataforma 1 Nightclub Show with dinner, where you can enjoy an excellent Brazilian show, a true sample of their Carnival spirit.  Day 10. Rio de Janeiro

Breakfast. Check out is at 10 am, however  some times we can confirm a courtesy late check out around 4pm, subject to hotel availability. Also you can leave your luggage secure at the lobby and enjoy having lunch in one of Rio’s churrasquerias; these are the typical Brazilian steak houses, where you are served a large variety of beef cuts, salads, and pastas in an all you can eat plan.

Later we will provide a transfer from your hotel to the  International Airport of Rio for your flight to your hometown.
