Itinerary - Tours Peru, Chile and Argentina
Day 1. Arrival in Lima
Upon arrival at the airport a host will meet and assist you in transferring registering at the selected hotel.
Peru, located on the west side of the South American Continent and below the Ecuador Line, is 3rd largest country of South America, its capital Lima (Indian an old Spanish language: Lee mah also Limaq) is the largest city of this beautiful country full of contrast. Lima, originally named as “Ciudad de los Reyes-City of Kings” was found by the Spanish conquistador Francisco Pizarro on January 18th, 1535. Nowadays more than 1/3 of Peru population is living in fifth largest city of Latin America. Lima has some of the country’s finest colonial architecture and most impressive museums such as the Golden Museum and the Larco Mussem. The Historic Center of Lima was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1988.

Day 2. TOURS PERU: City Tour of Lima and Larco Museum
| Breakfast at your hotel and half day tour visits both the colonial and modern sections of this "City of Kings." Colonial sites include the lovely Plaza de Armas with its cathedral and palace, and the exquisite Torre Tagle Palace modern day seat of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In modern Lima, drive along the exclusive residential areas of Miraflores and San Isidro. Continue to the Larco Museum, founded in 1926, it showcases remarkable chronological galleries providing an excellent overview on 3000 years of development of Peruvian pre-Columbian history. Located in a unique vice-royal mansion of the 18th century built over a 7th century pre-Columbian pyramid, is surrounded by beautiful gardens. Day 3. TOURS PERU: Lima / Cusco
| Breakfast at your hotel. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Cusco. Upon arrival at the airport a host will meet and assist you in transferring to the hotel and help you in registering.Tour of Cusco and its Ruins - This afternoon's tour of the oldest continuously inhabited city in the western hemisphere includes important landmarks of enchanting Cusco and also the nearby ruins of Kenko, Puca-pucara, Tambomachay as well as the Sacsayhuaman fortress. Once the center of the Inca civilization, modern Cusco is a delightful combination of Inca and colonial architecture. Day 4. TOURS PERU: Cusco / Machu Picchu / Cusco
| Breakfast at your hotel. Full Day Excursion to Machu Picchu - Early wake up for a train ride through the sacred valley of Urubamba to the "Lost City of the Incas," Machu Picchu. Perched 8,200 feet above the valley, it was hidden by mountains and semi-tropical jungles for 400 years until discovered by Hiram Bingham of Yale University in 1911. Archaeologists believe that the Inca "Virgins of the Sun" took refuge from the Spanish Conquistadors here. Guided tour of the ruins upon arrival. All transfers are included. Lunch is at the Orient Express' Sanctuary Lodge located just a few steps from the Inca citadel. Afternoon return to Cusco. Day 5. TOURS PERU: Cusco / Sacred Valley / Cusco
| Breakfast at your hotel. Full Day Excursion to the Pisac Indian Market and the Ollantaytambo Fortress (Daily) - Morning departure for a drive through the fertile countryside to the colonial village of Pisac. During your visit to the bustling marketplace you will have the opportunity to bargain with the natives for many different types of Peruvian handicrafts and jewelry. After lunch the tour continues to the village of Ollantaytambo for a visit to its impressive Inca fortress. In the afternoon return to Cusco. (B,L) |

Day 6. TOURS PERU: Cusco / Lima / Santiago de Chile
| Breakfast at your hotel. Transfer from hotel to the airport for your flight to Lima and then take your flight to Santiago de Chile. At your arrival in Santiago you will be transferred to your selected hotel. Santiago, Chile’s capital is a modern and cosmopolitan City. Chile is a country with different geographical and climatic condition that can be appreciated all year round. Santiago is a city of approximately 6 millions inhabitants. It is the financial and business center of the country with a stable government and good economic growth. Is has excellent shopping centers, historical buildings, and fine museums. (B) |

Day 7. TOURS CHILE: Santiago de Chile – Viña del Mar – Valparaiso – Santiago de Chile
Breakfast at your hotel, then early departure to Viña del Mar and Valaparaiso; this is a famous summer resort city and Valparaiso renowned for its fishing industry. You will have the opportunity to observe Chiles’s unique geography.
A full day excursion to Valparaiso and Viña del Mar is a "must" to every tourist visiting Chile. The tour starts with the visit of Viña del Mar, Chile's main sea resort passing in front of the Quinta Vergara (Vergara Park) - lodging the Vergara Villa, now Museum of Fine Arts, as well the open air theater site of the annual February International Song Festival. After crossing the Marga Marga Canal, stop at the Fonk Museum where an original Moai brought from the Easter Island can be seen. Return to Viña del Mar skirting along the coast, we spot the Gambling Casino, Wulff Castle, and a Flower Clock, proceeding towards Chile's main port, Valparaiso. A visit to Valparaiso, recently declared by UNESCO Patrimony of Humanity, is a sheer surprise: its typical architecture, its winding narrow streets and the ranges of houses clinging on the surrounding hills in an urban landscape intermingled with all kind of vessels in the ever present bay. Funiculars, (some over 100 years old) are still used as a popular means of transportation. (B) |

Day 8. TOURS CHILE: Santiago de Chile – Buenos Aires
Breakfast and half day city tour starts by visiting the antique residential area, the Chile’s famous Race Track, the Cousino Palace, a ride through the Alameda Avenue, the city’s most and more important avenue. We will visit the San Francisco Church, Santa Lucia’s Hill and the site of Santiago’s foundations in 1541. Drive up to the San Cristobal hill with a complete panoramic view of the city with the imposing statue of the Virgin Mary on the top.
Your will continue through various districts of the city such as Vitacura, Los Condes and Providencia, along a forestall park, Mapocho River, the Cathedral, the Supreme Court, the Presidential Palace and the Pre-Columbian Art Museum.Santiago, Chile’s capital is a modern and cosmopolitan City. Arrival in Buenos Aires at Ministro Pisatarini Airport ( Buenos Aires‘s International Airport formerly known as Ezeiza) or Aeroparaque Jorge Newbery and transfer to the selected hotel in Buenos Aires.This city is known as the “Paris of South America” for its spacious boulevards, European architecture and avenues with impressive monuments. The Plaza de Mayo (May Square) perhaps the most historically representative place in Argentina. Here you can see the Presidential Palace, the Cabildo, which was the Old Spanish city hall, and the Cathedral with José de San Martin mausoleum. San Martin was the Liberator of Argentina. The National Congress Building, another historical site with its imposing facade of Greek-Roman features, considered one of the most sumptuous parliamentary buildings of the Americas is a location that you can’t miss. Day 9. BUENOS AIRES TOURS: Buenos Aires city tour
Breakfast. In the morning, you will participate of a half day city tour; that includes the most interesting and historical locations of the city. This tour will take you through the world’s famous 9 de Julio Ave. You will have the opportunity to see the Presidential House, (World famous Pink House), the historical Plaza de Mayo, el Cabildo, el Congreso, the district of San Telmo, and ending at the Italian/Portuguese district of La Boca, where the famous Caminito street inspired the famous Tango-Caminito. On Sundays you may chose to drop-off from the tour at famous Antique Fair of San Telmo, or return to your hotel.
Fería de Antiguedades de San Telmo is a very traditional gathering place of the local’s folks who are looking for antiques, restaurants, café’s; the surrounding architecture, tango street dancing, and a bohemian atmosphere complement this exciting fair. This nostalgic event runs only on Sunday from 12 noon to 4:00PM. The return to your hotel is on your own. (B)

Day 10. BUENOS AIRES TOURS: Buenos Aires – Tango night
Breakfast and day at your leisure. We suggest a nice walk on Corrientes Avenue, Florida Street, Santa Fe Avenue, the 9 de Julio Ave, Visiting Recoleta and Puerto Madero, with their fine restaurants and café’s.
Nightlife in Buenos Aires extends to early hours in the morning; dinner is an essential part of the Argentinean evening. During this night, you will have dinner and enjoy an energetic night tango show performed by prestigious Argentinean artists. Dinner and transfers are included. Day 11. BUENOS AIRES TOURS: Buenos Aires – Home
