Terms and Conditions

AIR TRANSPORTATION:
You will be informed by us of what is the best air fare fare and itinerary for your trip., however our company will book only land services and no air fare will be invoice by Tours Online Corp. Tour Online Corp is not responsible for flight delays, airport closing and or cancel flights. We suggest to obtain cancellation travel insurance.

CRUISES:
Choice of accommodations (subject to availability) on the vessels as listed. All cabins have private facilities. Shore excursions are not included in the cost of the cruise unless otherwise noted. All cruise companies reserve the right to substitute vessels or alter itineraries without prior notice.

HOTELS:
Hotels are categorized as per evaluation by each country’s tourist’s authorities. Prices are base on two passengers sharing a twin/doubled bed room run-of-house rooms-standard room- (unless specific category is indicated) with private facilities. Single accommodation is subject to additional fee known as “single supplement fee”. At some jungle lodges and camping grounds, facilities are shared. Tour Operator reserves the right, before departure or during the tour, to substitute hotels and jungle lodges of similar category. Standard check-out time is 10:00 AM. Guests checking out later without hotel authorization may be charged an additional night’s stay Standard check-in time is 3:00 PM.

SIGHTSEEING:
Tours will be conducted by seat-in-bus (SIB) operated by local companies properly licensed, with local English speaking Tour Guide. Private services by cars, minibuses, motor coaches or jeeps are available for an additional fee. Our tours include English speaking Tour Guide, other languages are available for private service with additional fee. Entrance fees to sites with the exception of the Galapagos Park, Iguaçu Falls Brazilian and Argentina side. Other national parks can also charge additional entrance fees. Tours that operate during conventions, congresses, holidays and other special events may necessitate last minute changes to the sequence of the tour.

TRANSFERS & PORTER AGE:
Transfers to/from airports, hotels, lodges, camping grounds, and ports are included where indicated either by shuffle, seat-in-coach or private services provided passengers’ days of arrival and departure coincide with their published tours. Alterations to the itineraries result in supplements for private car/taxi services. Transport in some areas may be by motorized boats/canoes.
Due to government and international regulations, porters and tour representatives may not be allowed inside the customs and security areas of the airports or ports.

MEALS:
Meals are provided as indicated on each itinerary (B) Breakfast, (L) Lunch, (1)) Dinner. Lunches or Dinners, when included at hotels or restaurants are table d’hote (unless otherwise indicated) and limited to specific dining rooms when at hotels. All meals are included while on cruise are provided according to cruise line standard. Drinks and beverage are not included.

LAND ONLY RATES:
Land only programs less than 3 nights are subject to a $50 surcharge per person.

QUOTE:
A quote is a sample of your itinerary. This is not a confirmation of specific flights, cruises or hotels stay. The proposed flights, cruises, hotels and/or services may not be available at the time of booking. Once deposit is received we will request your booking to all our stations in each country. In the event that the requested flights, cruises hotels and/or services are not available we reserve the right to re-quote at a new price base on available and/or confirmed services. In such case you will have 24 hours for a final acceptance.

RESERVATIONS. DEPOSITS AND FINAL PAYMENTS:
Land Only Programs: A deposit of $250.00 per person is required in order to process your reservations Deposit is not refundable. The deposit amount may vary for Galapagos Cruises, Explora Lodge, Skorpios Cruises, special events such Rio de Janeiro Carnival, New Year, etc. The balance due for final payment is 60 days prior to departure. Final payment may be earlier for specials events such Galapagos Cruises, Explora Lodge, Skorpios Cruises, special events such Carnival, New Year, etc. We will be advised at time of booking. PLEASE NOTE: Optional insurance must be purchased within 7 days of deposit in order to insure that the pre-existing condition waiver applies. We therefore recommend that the insurance be purchased at the same time as the deposit is made. All payments including insurance premiums may be made by check or major credit card. Credit card charges will not be processed without a signed authorization form and credit card copy.

FORM OF PAYMENT:
We accept all major credit cards. For your protection credit card charges will not be processed unless accompanied by Tours Online’s authorization form, completed and signed by cardholder, as well as legible front and back photocopies of your credit card and valid ID such is passport or Driver licensee.

LATE BOOKING CHARGES::
A $50.00 fee will be charged for all bookings within 21 days of departure.

CHARGE FEES:
Subsequent to initial reservation, Tours Online will charge $100.00 fee per booking will be charged for each revision. Once final documents have been issued a $150.00 fee per booking will be charged. In addition, changing your reservation may result in penalties and increased fares.
These penalties may vary. We highly recommend the purchase of our insurance.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY:

• DEPOSIT IS NON REFUNDABLE AT ANY TIME
• Up to 60 days* penalty $250.00 per person
• 59 days* to 30 days* penalty $450.00 per person
• 29 days* until the departure day penalty is 100% of the paid amount.
• No show 100%
*Means days prior of scheduled departure date.
Additional penalties apply for airline tickets, cruises, and / or special events once they have been issued for all above program.
There is no refund for any unused services once travel has commenced.

INSURANCE PREMIUM IS NON-REFUNDABLE.

MAILING YOUR TRAVEL DOCUMENTS:
After all payments and confirmation are received your documentation will be processed. Your travel documents package will be mailed 21 days prior of your departure time. For passengers living in continental USA documents will be shipped via regular first class mail; all others will be shipped via DHL or Fedex courier, delivery fee will apply. Your package includes all your airline tickets (Electronic tickets) and your services and accommodations vouchers. This documentation must keep in safe place until your travel date. A reissue of your travel documents will result in additional fee of USD 100.00 per person.

PASSPORTS & VISAS:
All travelers must have a passport valid for six months after your return to the United States. U.S. citizens are required to obtain a tourist visa for travel to Brazil or Paraguay. Non U.S. Citizens are advised to check with their respective consulates as to visa requirement for the countries that they are visiting. Tours Online is not responsible for any delays, damages, losses, missed portions of tours or other missed services incurred by passengers who fail to obtain necessary travel documents.

HEALTH REQUIREMENTS:
If traveling to Peru & Bolivia (due to the high elevation) please confirm with your physician that you are in good health and able to tolerate the extremely high altitude before reserving the tour as there will be no refund made once touring has commenced. If traveling to Brazil and the Amazon, Yellow Fever Vaccination is required for entry you are arriving from Peru, Ecuador or Bolivia.
Currently, none of the countries included in our itineraries require a certification of vaccination if originating from North America However, as this is subject to change, please check with the Center for Disease Control at 800-CDC-INFO for updated information or go to their website at http://www.cdc.gov/travel/.

REGIONAL BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE:
Passengers are permitted two pieces of baggage per person. The total dimensions of both bags may not exceed 102 inches (the larger of the two not to exceed 62 inches), plus one carry-on bag not to exceed 39 inches.
When traveling between countries and on domestic flights within each country, baggage is weighed allowing a total of 33 pounds. Tours Online is not responsible for excess of baggage’s charges. On all motor coach and private car tours, only one suitcase is permitted per person plus one small carry-on piece. Baggage insurance is highly recommended, as we cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged luggage or personal items.

INTERNATIONAL BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE:

International carriers (with origin or final destination to USA) varies on their baggage policy.

We recommend you visit the airline’s web site for the latest information on their policy. You can also call the airline for additional information.

Tours Online is not responsible for changes in baggage policy. Further changes in the airline baggage policy may occurs without notice.

PRICES & RATE FLUCTUATIONS:
Prices listed in our web pages or in flyers do not necessarily correspond to published rates of respective establishments or services as they include planning, communications and all other operational costs. All rates and airfares utilized were based on exchange rates valid at press time and are subject to change without prior notice, depending on currency fluctuation, fuel surcharges, and/or inflation, taxes variation. All prices are subject to change without notice.
Prices are guarantee once deposited is been charged.

DISABLED TOUR PARTICIPANTS:
Any disability requiring special attention must be reported to Tours Online at the time of booking. Tours Online will make all reasonable efforts to accommodate the needs of disabled tour participants, but is not responsible for any denial of by the international service providers. Motor coaches and mini-buses are not equipped with wheelchair ramps.

PRIVACY POLICY:
After you complete your trip, at random, welcome letters will be sending. This is your chance to report us about your trip experience. Your personal information is private and extremely valuable for our company. Your comments may be published in our customer testimonial field in any case your personal information will be confidential.  Your payments by check or credit card are strictly confidential and we will not release to anyone. Travel news and specials offers destinations can be sent by us via email from time to time or by regular mail. Tours Online does not sell or release any of your personal information.

NOT INCLUDED:
Air fare, visa fees, port taxes, park taxes, laundry, valet services, additional baggage in excess of allowance, baggage, accident and trip cancellation insurance (highly recommended), wines and liquors, mineral waters, food and beverages not on the regular menu of the included meals, and all other expenses of a purely personal nature. Departure taxes within Latin America, and/or customs and immigration fees are not included and must be paid locally by each passenger, internal air within Latin America and domestic airfares are not included unless specifically indicated. Tips to your guide, driver and other service personnel are not included.

TRAVEL INSURANCE:
We recommend that you purchase adequate and comprehensive travel insurance before departure. Neither Tours Online nor your travel agent is responsible for loss or damage to luggage, accidents en route or ill health that may require you to cancel or miss part of your trip.

Insurance Premiums are non-refundable, non-transferable and may not be purchased after final payment is made.

RESPONSABILITY:
Delay, cancellations and overbooking may occur on flights, cruises and land reservations. While will do everything possible to avoid these inconveniences, Tours Online can not assume responsibilities for respective carriers, hotels and/or third party tour operators.
The carriers, hotels/lodges and other suppliers providing tour services are independent contractors. The tour participant agrees that neither the Operator nor its affiliates shall be liable for any damage, loss (including personal injury, death, and property loss) or expense occasioned by any act or omission of any supplier providing tour services. Any liabilities resulting from your tour will be limited to the coverage under AIG TraveGuard Insurance International Cruise, Tour & travel protection plan or the Travel Insurance Protect Assist Planl, depending on which one you purchased.
